Difficulty: Easy
Functionality: This is a tool in Excel that makes engaging and functional spreadsheets, such as forms.
On the second sheet, type the items you want to appear in the drop-down list.
On the first sheet, select cell B1.
On the Data tab, in the Data Tools group, click Data Validation.
The 'Data Validation' dialog box should now appear. In the Allow box, click List.
The 'Data Validation' dialog box should now appear. You should now have a working drop down box to incorporate into your spreadsheet.
You can also type the items directly into the text box, without using Sheet2. This gives the exact same result (see picture below).
Extra Challenge: Add an "if" formula to link your drop down box to make your spreadsheet even more dynamic. Try typing this into cell C1=if($B$2$="Pizza","Order Pizza","Do not order Pizza")
